In 1965 I designed a detachable hardtop for an MGB. It was manufactured out of aluminium by I J Jones Panel Shop in Riri Street Rotorua.

We produced a fibreglass mould for reproduction. The mould was left at Eddies Panel Shop.

The photos show my 1965 MGB and I want to find if the mould is still in existence.

About 10 years ago I purchased another MGB and contacted Eddie for the mould. He had sold his business and the mould went to an MG enthusiast in the south of the North Island to the best of his recollection.

I do not want to repossess the mould and would be happy to pay for a reproduction.
